A Spiritual Journey That Evolved Into a Global Venture
Jabez Jewelz offers a beautiful collection of artisanal jewelry, meticulously curated and crafted by the talented Kathryn Pfeiffer, Owner and Designer/Stylist from St. Louis, Missouri. Her exceptional creations stem from a harmonious blend of semi-precious stones including chalcedony, topaz, mystic topaz, turquoise, druzy, malachite, as well as various forms of pearls – freshwater and mother of pearl, all encased beautifully in sterling silver.
Kathryn invests a great deal of passion and precision in selecting stones that are not just visually appealing but are of unique shapes, colors, and styles. She opts for raw and natural stones that exhibit an elegant flair while maintaining a one-of-a-kind style, sourced from diverse corners of the globe. This meticulous selection process ensures that while some pieces may feature similar stone combinations, the inherent uniqueness of each stone’s natural variation makes every piece of jewelry distinct.
Upon finalizing her designs, Kathryn visits Bali, Indonesia, where she collaborates with her team of adept silversmiths. Together, they breathe life into Kathryn’s visions, crafting each piece by hand to achieve perfection.
The genesis of Jabez Jewelz was inspired by the “Prayer of Jabez” (1 Chronicles 4:10), a beacon that guided Kathryn on her path to divine expansion. Little did she know that a simple prayer would unravel into a cascade of blessings, including a mentorship with an experienced jewelry designer. Named in gratitude for these unexpected gifts, Jabez Jewelz stands as a testament to faith and empowerment.

My Story:
Spiritual Journey
that Evolved Into a Global Venture
I have always had an “artsy eye” and a passion for jewelry. I was looking to bring in a product to my existing style business so jewelry was a natural path for me to follow. I was reading the book “The Prayer of Jabez” looking for some spiritual guidance in this decision. To me, my take away from the book” was asking the Lord to increase “my territory” and giving HIM the honor. Within a month of saying this prayer my “territory” was expanded by leaps and bounds.
While on a family vacation to Las Vegas I told my husband that we needed to stop In Sedona. I had a powerful feeling something in Sedona was calling me. I walked into this shop and saw pieces of jewelry that were gorgeous but had more of an “earthy/granola” look. I just knew if I could have access to the stones I could design pieces with a more “chic” appeal. I tracked down the designer and against all odds we worked out a way for me to launch my jewelry venture. Initially I trained and worked out of his studio in Sedona and later in Maui. Throughout the years, I have expanded and now have worldwide resources that have allowed me to set up my own studio and production team. I named my company for the prayer and book I found so inspiration “The Prayer of Jabez: Breaking Through to the Blessed Life,” by Bruce Wilkerson.

About The Designer
Kathryn Pfeiffer
I have owned and designed jewelry for my company, Jabez Jewelz, for the last 15 years. These one-of-a-kind pieces are created by combining semiprecious stones, drusy and other unusual stones and then encasing them in 925 sterling silver. I individually choose the stones from areas worldwide based on their beauty, quality and uniqueness. When my design work is complete, I travel to Bali, Indonesia to work with a gifted team of silversmiths.
Prior to being a jewelry designer, I owned an image consulting business. My passion for working with women, empowering them to express their inner beauty has not changed in my current business. By combining my previous image/fashion knowledge with my current design work, I can inspire my customers to express their individuality by showcasing jewelry choices unique to their personality.
